In the Abbot’s Chapel
Nowadays, the Abbot’s Chapel of yesteryears serves as a branch of the regional Registrar’s Office. Civil weddings can be held here on predetermined dates – after consultation with the registrar – also on weekends. Once we have decided on the date, you can inform your hometown Registrar’s Office that you want to marry and that your civil wedding is to take place in Germany, at the Zweibruecken Land registrar’s office.
Your civil ceremony At the St. Fabian’s Chapel
As an alternative to the Abbot’s Chapel within the Kloster Hornbach Hotel, you can choose to have your civil wedding take place at the nearby St. Fabian’s Chapel, located right on the premises of the former Hornbach monastery.
